OpenScale - Communicating with Ardiuno Serial Monitor - but can't load menu

I have an openscale, connected to 4 strain gauges, connected through the load sensor combinator.

I have followed the steps for FT231 driver install, and the board seems to be talking to the Arduino with sketches like blink seemingly controlling the LED, but can I figure out how to open the menu with “x”, or read results from the load sensors? No

Any help appreciated. Thanks

Hi robpartridge.

Did you upload a sketch to the Openscale? If you’ve uploaded something to the board you overwrote the original firmware and will need to re-upload the firmware.
