PCB layout help

I recently made this PCB and I’ve been thinking of fabricating it. However, I want to make sure the board has a good layout before trying it:

The board is a lithium polymer battery charger and “fuel gauge”. Average current draw by the load should be around 1.3-2 A, output is at 4.4 V, and the battery is 3.7 V (4.2 V charging voltage). I know it is not very optimized, judging by the huge unused area on the bottom left, but I had to try hard to make it all fit on a single sided board (that’s all I have here), but will it work as desired (stable output, not set the battery on fire, etc)?](ImageShack - schematicm.png)](ImageShack - boardbfngc.png)
