I have a new Pijuice battery for Raspberry Pi 3 and I have tried it on two Raspberry Pi. I installed the pijuice gui app and positioned the pijuice battery and restarted the Raspberry Pi. In both cases I get Battery- Not_Present when I look at the Preferences for Pijuice. I have tried applying the microUSB power to both the the battery and (not at the same time) the Raspberry Pi. I always get the same result. It is as if no battery is there, except I have some new software. This is very frustrating, since the darn thing was expensive and I waited months for it.
Hello.
Can you send a photo of the left hand side of your battery an a photo of the battery installed on the hat? We may be able to spot the issue from those.

Thanks for the photos!
Everything looks A-OK from what I’m seeing. I’m not quite certain what could be causing the issue.
I’ll do some research and PM you with the results as soon as I have more data.
So, what do I do?
This situation with SparkFun’s lack of technical support is very frustrating. I have two products from you. Neither one will work. I posted comments on the forum, since there is nothing else to do and I get no response. It is not clear to me that buying from SparkFun is the way to go.
Hi dvernier.
I just sent you a PM about this. If you have any questions, reply to that PM. (We’re getting a replacement ready for you.)
