Hello. I have run into this problem a few times now and am not sure how to handle it in Eagle. Some parts like a DAC I’ve been trying to use have IOUT and IOUT with the bar over top. When making the pins in Eagle library editor I do not know how to designate one as an overbar and at the same time I cannot just name them both IOUT and go back and draw a line over top because it says you cannot name two pins the same name. Any ideas on what I should try?
A slash in front of the name is also common notation.
I put a lower case n in front of the name.
Ah Ha! I had an idea and opened an eagle standard library with a over-bar. Just put ! in front of anything and it becomes bar’d. !IOUT became
IOUT
Woo! Maybe this will be helpful to others too.
