Problem for getting keys on my Facet L-band

Hello,

I just receive my Facet L-band.

I setup a profil for RTK with RTCM corrections by WIFI (connection to Caster from french correction provider TERIA).

But when I turn on my Facet, on display I have Getting Keys and impossible to change display, I can just turn off…

after more 1 hour always the same message!

I connect Facet to USB for serial connection, I plug USB-C on Facet and USB A on my computer, I turn off Facet, but after few second Facet turn off with out message on display.

Have you got a solution, please?

Sorry for my english I’m french.

Best regards

Ludovic

You have a serial connection, good! Would you please post the output from your device? It should look something like this:

Without knowing what firmware version you are running, I recommend checking that first: https://docs.sparkfun.com/SparkFun_RTK_ … re_update/

v3.2 made a lot of improvements to how WiFi is connected to.

I would also recommend doing a factory reset just to get you back up and running: https://docs.sparkfun.com/SparkFun_RTK_ … tory-reset

Once those two things are complete, I recommend entering your WiFi credentials and allowing the device to obtain it’s L-Band keys. Once that is complete, then you should try setting up the connection to your RTCM Caster.

Hello,

I don’t have serial connection because when I turn on my facet, the screen displays the logo then the Facet turns off without the message Shutting down…

How to resat factory without WIFI, blutooth or serial?

The power buton can just power ON or OFF the facet, no access to menu.

Best regards

The unit is designed to ignore taps of the power button. Please press and hold the on button until the firmware version appears.

Do you have an SD card in the unit? It should create a settings file that contains all the information we’re looking for.
