Hi All,
Ok, the subject says it all. I connect my brand new Mega 2560 to my USB port, it goes to install the drivers, and then nada! No port show up in MPIDE. I go to device manager, and see the error “this device cannot start (code 10)” which as far as I can figure out, is some sort of generic windows error of the tenth kind. Tried unconnecting and re-connecting. Tried moving to a different USB port. tried rebooting the computer. Looking on the web, someone suggested uninstalling all the USB hubs on the system and rebooting. No Joy!
So, anyone have an great ideas? Good ideas? Mediocre, but might be worth a shot ideas??? :think:
