Dear Sparkfun Forum: I have a recently purchased postcard and portability shield. The RTK firmware was v2.1. I updated the LG290P firmware from LG290P03 AAN R01A 03S to the . . . 05S version. Thereafter, the OLED stated “GNSS failed” although it appeared to be working as seen from connecting to COM B using the Quectel QGNSS software. I tried updating the ESP32 firmware using the WiFi but this did not work.
From COM A I get a repeating message that includes “E (72) boot: No bootable app partitions in the partition table”. I’ve tried firmware uploading including using RTK Firmware Uploader 1.7 after pressing the BOOT button and plugging in the USB cable and also placing the RTK_Surveyor_Firmware_Force.bin file on the microSD card. The OLED screen remains blank. I would like to ask what I can do to successfully restore the operation of the ESP32. Perhaps I should roll back the LG290P firmware. Thankyou. I’ve attached the message from COM A and also the dialogue from the Firmware Uploader.
