Problem with Venus GPS Logger with SMA Connector

Hello all,

I recently bought the Venus GPS Logger with SMA Connector (GPS-09171) with Breakout Board for FT232RL USB to Serial (BOB-00718), Antenna GPS Embedded SMA (GPS-00177), and Polymer Lithium Ion Battery - 900mAh (PRT-00341).

I don’t have any luck getting position with this GPS and its accessories; I sat outside for 20 minutes with the GPS connected to my computer. I did see several red dots stayed on and some blinked on/off in the SkyTraq window.

Any ideas?

Should work. I have almost the same setup and got it to work indoors (as well as out). I made a short video of it in action here:
