Problems getting readings from WeatherHat on a Rasberry Pi

I’m having trouble with a WeatherHat purchased through the PiShop.us and they suggested reaching out on this forum.

I was able to mount the WeatherHat on a Rasberry Pi and get it running using the Bullseye version of Linux (it took me quite a while to figure out the WeatherHat isn’t yet compatible with the new version of Linux!). All of the sensors on the board work fine. However, I can’t get any readings out of the wind or rain gauges–they consistently just show zero. Any idea what might be wrong? Or is it a defective board?
