Problems with AVR-ISP500-tiny

I have a avr-isp500-tiny

i am trying to get it to work this weekend. I’ve had it for about 3 years with it, but it have never worked. (most likely it was me)

anyways, I’ve just updated the driver for it. (http://www.olimex.com/dev/avr-isp500-tiny.html) and now it shows up as Drive K:\ and no longer under the Port COM4. (or any other COM)

Any ideas what to do next?

Dump it and buy an AVR Dragon?

a dragon has been ordered and is on it’s way.

i just hope it works.

You get debugging, as well as programming, which is invaluable.
