I have a sparkfun prodriver (TC78H670FTG) connected to a (42byghm809) stepper motor, I just need it to turn continuous with an on/off switch and maybe reverse the direction with a different switch, I was wondering if I could set it up without a separate board ( like a uno R3 or something) I didn’t want to buy a board if I didn’t need to with this driver. Thank you
Not in a way that would likely be worth your time…the 2 methods on controlling the ProDriver are:
Control Methods:
Clock-in Stepping
Serial Communication
An Arduino-compatible board such as https://www.sparkfun.com/products/15123 will be required to program/upload to the IC of the ProDriver - check out the hookup guide here that will illustrate its use https://learn.sparkfun.com/tutorials/sp … -guide/all
