programmer for atmega324p

hi

I have bought an atmega324p.

I would like to know how i can program it.

I know about the AVR ISP mkII. But it is expensive.

I would like to go with some products like USBASP or Pocket avr programmer.

http://www.micro4you.com/store/USBASP-A … od_93.html

http://www.sparkfun.com/commerce/produc … ts_id=9231

But i am not sure if it will support my atmega324p.

The USBASP mentioned in above link mentions atmega324 in its device support list but dint mention about atmega324P.

Kindly let me know the best(cheap and efficient)programmer for my atmega324P.

thanks…

I also bought one.

However I do not know if the Pocket AVR Programmer will interface to it.

Could someone tell me if this is possible.

If not then I will have to order another interface.

I wish they would have seen my order and called me. I would have had them throw in what is needed.

Oh well.

Get an AVRISP or a Dragon. They might cost more than the cheaper clone programmers, but they will probably save you a lot of time and trouble. The Dragon is especially useful as you get in-circuit debugging as well as programming.
