protective foam for microcontroler?

I’m working on a project which will be portable and will consist mainly of an Arduino Pro Mini, and a lithium battery (or 9V battery w/a power regulator - I haven’t decided). To prevent damage to the microcontroller, and to prevent any accidental shorting, I had an idea of finding some kind of foam tape. with one side being (somewhat) sticky, and applying the foam onto the microcontroller (it doesn’t have to look pretty).

I know this must exist, any suggestions as to where to buy such a thing?

Thanks,

Jeff

Foam is probably going to increase the likelihood of damage from static buildup. Why not put it in an enclosure? There are thousands of standard off the shelf enclosures.
