Hi! I have used Lilypad components before without issues (Lilypad Arduino, LEDs, sensors, etc.), but I bought two Lilypad Twinkles, and I can’t seem to get them to work at all. To eliminate possible bridging of my conductive thread, I tried with alligator clips, checked that the board has power with the multimeter, etc. All of that seems ok, and the led lights up when I connect it to the positive terminal on the Lilypad as a check, but none of the numbered pins do anything when I connect them to my LED. This board is supposed to be preprogrammed, right? Any guesses on where I might be going wrong?

It was, but it was definitely more than 30 days ago. I was hoping I was doing something wrong, because I bought two and neither works, which is disappointing.
You might try cleaning the boards/contacts with IPA and see if that helps
