QWIIC for drone telemetry

I have the following drone telemetry kit and a Sparkfun ESP32 microcontroller.

The air module has a cable out that is NOT qwiic compatible. I think it has six slots.

Is there a conversion cable or module to connect to the ESP32 without a need for soldering?

FPVDrone 500MW Radio Telemetry Kit 915Mhz Air and Ground Data Transmit Module for APM 2.6 APM 2.8 Pixhawk Flight Controller

It looks like the output is 4-pins and the cable provided converts it to a 6-pin (while only using 4)…it looks like you could use https://www.sparkfun.com/products/17912 and just wire it directly if so

If I’m mistaken about the output pin # we have others sizes too https://www.sparkfun.com/categories/72

I doubt very much those telemetry models will work over qwiic, they are most likely ttl serial rather than i2c.

Based on the Amazon page linked above, it is TTL Serial, so it won’t work over qwiic. You should be able to connect it to the serial port on the ESP32 (not sure if you would need level shifters), but it is unlikely to find a ready-made cable. You can use the cable that comes with the module and dyke off the 6-pin end and solder it to the ESP32
