Reflow Toaster Controller

I ordered the reflow toaster controller kit and have built it. It works fine, but the wall wart shipped with it is 9VDC output. The relay supplied requires 12VDC to actuate, per the datasheet and empirical evidence (won’t turn on with the supplied transformer, will turn on if I supply the board with a 12VDC 1A transformer).

Was this a packaging error? If so, how can I exchange this power supply for a 12VDC supply? And if not… well, I’ll hope it was
