RFID reader

Hi, I am building a Martial Arts equipment with an RFID reader. I need a 1RFID reader like SparkFun RFID Qwiic Reader that is connected to 4 antennas that are connected to 35” long wires that can read the RFID tags. Any idea what is the best choice.

What are you envisioning? There might be something better than RFID…I’m guessing a heavy bag with 4 striking areas?

The Qwiic RFID uses 125kHz tags which will make what you’re after a bit more tricky…UHF circuits are much more tolerant of longer antenna wiring. Qwiic/i2c cabling is also subject to wires’ resistance

An M7E with something like an antenna mux Keonn AdvanMux-4 UHF RFID Multiplexer (4-Port) might be an option

I am building a chest-mounted wearable detector that detects a kick via RFID tags and an accelerometer threshold, triggering an LED when the threshold is met. Here is a sample diagram.
