RN-41 connected, but not responding...

Hi all,

this is my situation:

RN-41 is ON and paired to PC(the led on pin 21 blink fastly then slowly);I start hyperterminal and open a connection on COM6 (the SPP one);led stop blinking,I type $$$ but the module not respond… In the hyperterminal I can’t set bps, parity etc… (i don’t know why…) so I open the device manager, COM6, proprieties, settings and I set (115200,8,none,1,hardware), but when I retried with hyperterminal nothing happened.

I tried also with Advanced Serial Port Terminal but with same results…

Some advices??

Try a different terminal program maybe?

Try connecting the RX → TX pins. Make sure local echo is OFF, and see if characters pop up on the screen. If you get characters, the module is connecting and talking.

have you tried to use +++ instead of $$$? for me +++ works and $$$ doesn’t.
