ROVER ZED-9FR STOPS RECORDING AFTER 2.5 DAYS THOUGH IT IS CONFIGURATED TO RECORD FOR A LONGER TIME

Hello All,

I have an Express Plus Rover with Firmware version 2.5 and ZED-9FR version HPS 1.21. I configurated the rover using TeraTerm to have a large testing time (See below ) because the rover will be used to monitor a landslide movement, however, the rover stops recording the data after 2.5 days although the rover was configurated to have a “Log time” of 438000 minutes (10 months). I have other rovers which have the same configuration however I do not have any issues with them. I do not know what is happing to the rover and any help will be highly appreciated. Thank you so much in advance for your help in advance.

I have other rovers which have the same configuration however I do not have any issues with them.

Do the other Express Plus units successfully log for 3+ days?

How big is the log being generated? Is the microSD card large enough?

Is the microSD card becoming corrupt or is the log from the problem unit readable?

Hello @sparky

My answers are below:

Do the other Express Plus units successfully log for 3+ days?

Yes, the other rovers are working for longer periods of time and have the same configuration, for example, I have been testing the rovers for 7 days and I only have the issue with one rover.

How big is the log being generated? Is the microSD card large enough?

I’m recording the data every minute so I configure the NMEA and RMX messages every 60 seconds. The data generated is 70 MB for 2 days of recording and the MicroSD in the SparkFun units has 32 GB capacity.

Is the microSD card becoming corrupt or is the log from the problem unit readable

The data recorder for the 2.5 days is readable and I downloaded the data in a CSV format using U-center.

This conversation is cross posted to the RTK Firmware repo: https://github.com/sparkfun/SparkFun_RT … issues/360

The repo is the best place so I’ll move the answers over there.
