RTK express log base data for PPK

Hello. I’ve bought an RTK express hoping to use it for PPK with a rover (emlid Reach M+). I set it up as a temporary base and assumed it would log the messages it is configured for while set up but didn’t seem to do so.

My hope is to be able to get an accurate location in RTK mode, then switch to base mode using that known location, log data to process against the Reach which needs a shorter baseline as only L1. The hookup guide alludes to setting up at known location but doesn’t provide any detail.

I suppose I have two questions:

How to go about setting up a base at a known (RTK-acquired) location?

How to log base data to post-process the Reach against?

Apologies if I’ve missed the answer in the forum or the docs, I’ve looked but without success.

How to log base data to post-process the Reach against?

I recommend turning on the ‘Reset to Logging Defaults’ settings which will turn on RAWX and SFRBX messages which will enable post processing: https://docs.sparkfun.com/SparkFun_RTK_ … _messages/
