RTK Reference Station dead, then started working again

Yesterday morning I unpacked and installed a brand new Reference Station. It was working perfectly, and I left it running all day. Power was from the USB-C adapter included in the kit.

When I checked it later in the evening, the unit was completely dead - no LED or panel display. I tried different power outlets, different power supply etc. Nothing worked.

This morning, I plugged it back in. Lights came on and it has been working fine for a couple of hours.

Is there a failure mode that can shut the system down for several hours, or is this a flaky hardware issue?

Might be a bad power pack? If it happens again try a phone charger and see if that’s more reliable.

I did try it with a different power adapter (from an rpi). No go.

This morning I am using the original power adapter and working fine.

Correction - I didn’t try the alternate power supply until this morning, so it’s possible it could be a flaky power pack. Will monitor…
