According to the last hookup guide: “In the latest revision of the SAMD21 Pro RF, we have broken out an LED jumper for low power applications. The LED jumper disables only the power LED, but the power savings are quite significant.”

I just closed the led jumper but the led is still on??

Looks to me that this jumper is normally closed. You have to cut the jumper and eliminate continuity in order to prevent power from going to that LED.

See the power block in the schematic, “LED” jumper adjacent to “LED1 - RED”.
