SD card mirroring

Hello.

I was thinking about making a backup unit for my DSLR camera. Ready to use recorders are useless for me because they need clean hdmi output.

The main idea is to make it work in mirroring mode (like one of the RAID modes). I would like to use SD Sniffer from SparkFun to grab the data, but I’m not sure what to choose for writing the whole stream to second card. Any ideas are very welcome :slight_smile:

Why not just copy what’s on the camera’s SD card to some disk media or a small NAS?

Copying is a solution to backup data when recording is finished. I need a solution to backup data during video recording. It’s for prevent card error and footage losing.
