I’m trying to send real time audio using some Zigbee modules or something similar. I am really worried about the lag in signal, since I will be playing this audio with a movie. If anyone has some experience with this, or can help me choose a product that will eliminate this lag, please help.
That might well be a legitimate concern. I’d recommend some kind of analog solution - if it’s a one off, maybe gut one of those cordless microphones or an FM transmitter for car audio?
What kind of range and quality do you need?
ya, I’m doing a project one off, I would like good quality so I can run it through some EQs and a good quality amplifier for home theater surround sound.

I’m looking at using something like this. I don’t really have any experience using these modules. Would I basically be able to transmit audio from a coax into one of these modules and recieve the signal at the other end without much trouble/lag?
Features:
*Fast 156 Kbps RF data rate
What kind of audio quality are you aiming for with this data rate?
It is about 1/10 of whats needed for uncompressed 16 bit 44.1 KHz stereo signals under ideal conditions.
ZigBee and audio just don’t fit.
