Sensitivity of load sensor SEN-10245

Hi,

I am looking at the datasheet for the load cell SEN-10245:

https://www.sparkfun.com/datasheets/Sen … sensor.pdf

On the datasheet, the sensitivity is stated as 1mV/V. However, it does not provide information on the weight this sensitivity is measured at.

Also, what is the minimum weight change that could be measured when using a full bridge?

Thanks,

Ankhit

Hello Ankhit and thanks for using the forums!

Sadly all the information we have on that part is what’s listed in the specifications sheet on the product page. I’m afraid we don’t have the data you’re looking for.

As for a minimum weight that can be measured, that hasn’t been tested but would be a function of what excitation voltage you’re using and the resolution of the load cell amplifier circuit you have the sensors attached too. These sensors have an analog output so any change in weight is going to make a change in the voltage coming from the sensor. The better the resolution on your amplifier, the smaller a change you can detect.

Thank you, Chris!
