Servo Control

No idea which forum to post this on.

Would be great if Sparkfun had a kit to control a single servo.

Something simple.

I am an old fart and do not need to learn arduino or any of that other stuff.

I just want to control the position and speed of a single servo.

I need something like your analog joystick, or some slider or something that I could mount to the joystick on my tractor.

While my hand is on the joystick controlling the front bucket on my tractor, I would like to be able to use my index finger to also control a single servo.

And be able to control the position of the servo.

Right now I am using the servo trigger board to do it.

I have an inverter on my tractor to plug the power supply into.

But that is only a basic full movement or return type of control.

The only control I really have is using the trimpot to slow it down and keep pressing on the trigger to try and hold it at a certain position while also trying to control where my bucket is.

I could not find where you made something like that,…or if you do…

Any thoughts or ideas on how to do it would be greatly appreciated!!!

There are servo testers available that allow you to control the position of a servo using a knob or potentiometer. Some models even come with a joystick. You could mount this near your tractor’s joystick for easy access.
