Setup GM862 serial port bps.

Hi to all,

I am trying to connect GM862 with microprocessor uart. The microprocessor support said “…The UART on the eDemoBoard (D0/D1) will not run at rates higher than 38400 …” so I want to change the serial port bps of the GM862 module and save the configuration so when I plug the gm862 into my pcb and power it in it will expect 19200 bps on RX/TX.

From the “Telit_Modules_Software_User_Guide_r2.pdf” p.16 I see I can change bps settings by

AT+IPR=19200

But I seems like can not find how to save the configuration (what AT command to run?) so when restart the module it would be still expecting 19200 bps?

On the p.142 manual said “Message 100 – Set Serial Port … is used to set the protocol the communication parameters” but this is for the GPS receiver :frowning: is it right?

Please help me to find how I could change the bps of the GM862 RX/TX so that it stay after the module rest?

Thanks.

Vlad.

hey Vovik,

I think this website only for telit GM862 will help you out, and you can post your problem on the blog itself:
