Si4703 Breakout - Modifying for dedicated external antenna

Hi,

I have an Si4703 breakout board labeled “HW-322” (photo attached).

I want to solder a dedicated external wire antenna to the board instead of using the headphone cable as the antenna. Since this layout is different from the official SparkFun board, I am not sure where to tap in.

Where is the best point on this specific PCB to solder the antenna wire to get a signal to the FMI pin?

I don’t see a schematic for your particular board but if they followed the reference design in the datasheet the antenna should be connected to the ground pin on the headphone jack. A wire antenna could be connected there.
