Simon Splosion Wireless

I understand how to use 2 xbee modules to transmit stuff between to of the Simon Says modules wirelessly, and I inderstand how to program them using the USB to serial adapter. What is not clear to me is, if you may reprogram the product wirelessly (OTA) in order to change/modify the initial code.

Hey spoggles!

It’s not anything we’ve tried before, but it’s technically possible to reprogram an Arduino via wireless. SparkFun doesn’t have any guides, but I found some that might be helpful. All the guides I found use older Series1 XBees so you may have to do some work to get a modern Series3 XBee to work in place of the old Series1’s

Hope these help!

    I will try this.

The OTA reprogram over my LAN wireless network works fine. I have 2 of the series 1 xbee modules gathering dust.

My granddaughter received the Simon Says and it would be very nice if we could just change/modify code on the fly.

I think that providing a working ‘link’ for this would be great addition to the product’s info.
