So I tried to place an order through the Sparkfun website for a project in my lab (PhD student doing neuroscience at the University of California, Irvine), and while the ordering process seemed to have gone fine, when I tried to get an invoice for our Purchasing department, I noticed that the order is listed as “processing” and has been for a week, the date of the order is listed as “December 31, 1969,” all of the items are listed as costing $0.00, for a total of $0.00, despite the >$60 payment we authorized (which is also listed as having taken place), and the Sparkfun customer service people have ignored three “PLEASE HALP” emails. Is anybody else having this degree of difficulty getting in touch with anyone from Sparkfun about broken orders?
I also think this site is buggy. I often get signed out when I try to post an answer. I Hope Sparkfun authority will take the necessary steps to keep this beautiful website bug-free.
Give the folks at Sparkfun a call, and ask them directly to explain.
