source for cheap flat ribbon cable?

I’m building a project that is going to need a sensor placed on a wall ~20 feet from the project, but it needs to be physically connected with three wires, to be run along the wall near the ceiling. My first thought was flat speaker wire, but that (of course) only has two wires, and four wire versions of it are super premium (read: expensive). Ideally, I’d like something like flexible flat cable (FFC), but I can only find that being sold in pre-cut lengths. A white ribbon cable would be fine, but I can’t seem to find that in spools either.

Essentially, my question is this: can someone point me to a product that I can use to hook up a three-lead sensor (+9v,ground,signal), that comes in at least 20’ (~7m) lengths (or a spool!), which wouldn’t look horribly ugly run along a wall near the ceiling.

Thanks for any help!

“Land line” telephone extension cable is usually four conductor, and can be rather small and thin.

I usually buy the 16 count ribbon cable in rolls and just rip off what I need.

Thanks! I hadn’t thought of telephone cable… I think I actually have a bunch of that somewhere
