Spark Torch won't obtain NTRIP corrections

I’ve emailed SparkFun support twice; once to pnt and once to support, without any response, so I thought I would try here.

When I first purchased my Torch back in October, I had it set up to receive NTRIP corrections and I was getting 1/2 inch accuracy. I used it again in November and the best I could do was 6 feet, after 10 to 15 minutes.

I went through and tried to figure out what could have changed, as I had signed up and paid for the correction service. I’m still not sure what is wrong, except that it seems like my subscription was turned off.

I’ve taken some screenshots from my terminal program to see if anyone can spot the error. Today I tried again and noticed all my wifi configurations were gone. Not sure what could have happened to wipe them out, but I re-entered them and it seemed, in watching the message traffic in my terminal app, that the torch found my wifi.

My NTRIP credentials are entered directly in the Torch (which is how I was receiving corrections successfully in October). I have tried putting the credentials in SW Maps, but it’s never successfully connected, even when I was getting corrections directly to the Torch.

I only use the Torch a couple times a month and I had hoped once it was set up I wouldn’t have to fuss with it.

Hi Erik,

Sorry, this is my fault. I failed to properly reactivate your account. Please attempt to connect again over NTRIP and let me know if you have any issues.

Thanks. That did the trick. Even the NTRIP client in SW Maps works now.
