Sparkfun Jetbot - Serial Controlled Motor Driver soldering

On section 3 of instructions, motor driver, of Spakfun Jetbot it says, “Jumper marked with a 3 must be soldered”, and,

“You will need to solder both triple jumpers labeled below as “I2C pull-up enable jumpers” as the SparkFun pHat utilizes the I2C protocol.”

My question:

For now I will just be using the pre-flashed SparkFun Jetbot image, but as I learn more I may try new things.

Is it safe for me to solder all three sites (#3 and both triple jumpers) now without fearing any damage or complications of the unit operating properly?

That should be fine.

Soldering the triple pad jumpers lets the motor driver board work without the OLED display connected but both can work together with the jumpers in either state.
