I just got a SparkFun Logic Level Converter - Bi-Directional Step Down 5V Signals to 3.3V and Steps up 3.3V to 5V Board Dimensions: 0.63 x 0.52 (16.05 x 13.33mm) and have a problem. I got the board of Amazon snet a message and Jeolle an told me to post hear for help. I connected a wire to HV and GND when connected to 5v pwr I have 5v when I check vollage on LV an GRD I have 0 volts. what am I doing wrong? Is the board bad?
That board is meant to accept 5v at one side and 3.3v power at the other and will pass any 5v signal wires’ signal to the 3.3v signal side
Check out Bi-Directional Logic Level Converter Hookup Guide - SparkFun Learn for a basic wiring overview…but essentially you’ll have a 5v & GND at one end, 3.3v & GND at the other, and however many channels to be level-shifted wired at both ends
