I am trying to use the NEO-M9N to collect NMEA messages from all of the constellations simultaneously. I am running into an issue where I want to receive sentences such as GGA and RMC for each constellation individually using only one receiver. Is there any way to disable the receiving of combined GN messages and output each constellation separately?
I am using the Python library, and I have tried individually swapping between an active constellation (too slow) and using the NMEA filtering config (which only hid the messages I needed). Is there different configuration I can send to the receiver or another method of achieving this? Or is this impossible for this receiver?
Well there’s only ONE solution, so there really aren’t different answers to look at.
You can determine which contribute, up to 12 per constellation.
A maximum of 32 can be used, but 42 can be tracked.
You can filter at a NMEA level, a see CFG-NMEA-FILT settings
At a receiver level there’s CFG-SIGNAL options, but changing this can be disruptive and limited.
On some of the F9 you can get a NAV2 solution, which can be used to sanity check using a subset of measurements, and without augmentation.
