To start, I do want to address that I am a high schooler who is a novice with this device; however, I do have some experience with similar devices. Moreover, so far, all I have done is follow all of the directions provided on the website, https://learn.sparkfun.com/tutorials/op … 1687233190 so I am unsure as to why this is not working. the artemis does connect with my computers/lights up (I tried it with 3 different computers and all same results), but the output is random letters that I can make no sense of. Does anyone know what I might have done wrong and how I can fix it to get legible output?
Check your baud rate, it must match what your board is sending.
