SparkFun RTK Surveyor - compatible with California's SOPAC base stations?

Hi all,

I am thinking of getting an RTK kit, but I have one question. Is the SparkFun RTK Surveyor compatible with California’s SOPAC base stations over the NTRIP connection?

You can find the requirements to use access the network through NTRIP connections in the following link:

But in short:

  • Dual Frequency GPS or GNSS receiver (L1 & L2)

  • Internet access modem (cell phone, MiFi device, etc.)

  • Support NTRIP connection

  • Support RTCM 3.0 data format

    I just tested it today. It worked with California base stations and got to a 10mm location error. Fun toy!
