Surveyor Kit as Base Station for DJI Mavic 3E?

Hi

I am new to this technology. I’m planning on getting a DJI Mavic 3E with its RTK module for geological mapping projects. I need a base station other than the expensive proprietary DJI RTK-2. After reading a lot of info on this website, I think I need something like Sparkfun RTK Surveyor kit set up as a NTRIP base station with a radio module to broadcast correction data to the drone. Will that work?

It looks like that drone accepts NTRIP, so yes :slight_smile:

And yes, you will likely need a serial radio (much more range vs BT/wifi)
