SPX-18014 not detecting on 2017 MacBook Pro 13” running Big Sur

I received this board not too long ago, the board is not getting detected most of the time. I click on the Apple icon and go into About This Mac and then System Report. I refresh the USB Device Tree to see if the Hub is detected. I occasionally detected the Hub and I can plug in USB drive. The drive would show up in the Finder. I spent many hours trying different working cable that I have, the result is the same. The cables are from my Samsung T5/T7 SSD drive. I also tried on a Windows 10 machine and I also occasionally detected the Hub. Anyone encounter this issue?

Hi! Generally we aren’t able to provide much help with our experimental (‘SparkX’) products, but maybe try re-installing your USB drivers (and also USB-to-serial drivers) and see if that helps
