I would like to create a way to drive a single stepper motor in one direction for fixed time/distance and then reverse to home position. Can you please tell me what components I need?

Check the EasyDriver hookup guide for details on how to set it up. In addition, you will want a 12 volt power supply that can output at least 2 amps.
