suggestions for IPC netlist DFM tools?

Our fab house claims that my layout has some shorts, based some tool they have that compares the Gerber files and the IPC-D-356 netlist. Looking at the gerber files using the free ViewMate gerber viewer, we cannot see any problem with our files.

Is there any free or cheap DFM tool that loads IPC netlist files and Gerber files? I know about CAM350 but I think that is a $$$ solution.

CAM350 will work in shareware mode, so you could try it.

Or try GC-Prevue from graphicode.com.

Have the fab house been specific about where the shorts are?
