i have bought the sunny buddy solar charger and i am wondering if it has overcharging protection for the battery. Also , if i will connect 2 batteries in series so i will get bigger capacity of mAh, would be a problem?

Yes, there is overcharge protection built into the board. Unfortunately this board is not configured to charge batteries in series, but as long as both batteries are of the same capacity and charge state, you can connect them in parallel and charge them that way.
