SW Maps - geoid height zero?

Hi, I’m new to using my new RTK Postcard, and SW Maps.

I downloaded the UK’s osgm15.gtx geoid file and have it selected in sw maps, but I still get a zero geoid height in the app. I have tried both ascii and binary versions of the geoid file, but no corrections.

Does anyone have any experience with geoid files in sw maps?

SW Maps requires that the geoid’s grid reference WGS84.

Since it’s not working, my first guess is that osgm15.gtx isn’t WGS84, but ETRS89?

Hi, thanks for the reply, yes, it’s ETRS89.

So that won’t work?

Ah, it also appears osgm15.gtx is an ASCII file. I believe SW Maps requires a binary gtx file.

You will need to use an app to convert the geoid.
