SWmaps: Local Coordinate System with Transverse Mercator Projection
Hi everyone: This cold Sunday forced me to investigate SWmaps details.
I wanted to generate a local reference system with a transverse Mercator projection, but I couldn’t get it to work.
Has anyone managed to use their own local coordinate system in SWmaps?

In transverse Mercator projections, I need the central meridian, latitude of origin, and false easting and false northing.
Here, I’m missing the latitude of origin, and many transformation parameters appear.
I emailed Avinab a long time ago, but I haven’t received a response.
I think in northern hemisphere, latitude of origin should be equator (0°) and, in southern hemisphere, south pole (-90°).
Hello. I appreciate your response, but the issue I’m raising isn’t the theory of the transverse Mercator projection itself, but rather that the SWmaps app seems to be missing input fields like the origin latitude.
And since I haven’t been able to contact the developer, I haven’t been able to make much progress.
In short, I don’t know if anyone has been able to use that option in SWmaps.
