Does the Temperature Sensor - Waterproof (DS18B20) need a 10k pull-up as suggested in the product page reviews?
The sensor isn’t the item that requires the pull-up resistor, it is 1-Wire protocol which needs a pull-up to work correctly. The 10KOhm resistor is a good compromise between pull-up speed and power consumption, but if you wanted to calculate the actual resistance to add you would need to measure your circuit and then use values as recommend in places such as https://www.maximintegrated.com/en/desi … /4255.html
