Thing Plus gets really hot as soon as is connected

I have been using a Thing Plus with no issues until yesterday when it started to reset itself. I grabbed the board and it was really hot (the chip getting hot is the USB to UART bridge), so I unplugged all the sensors (all connected through Qwiic) and the board still gets hot even with nothing attached to it.

I tried different power sources with the same result.

We’ve discovered a design issue in these that cause this to happen for some users. Adding a 100uF capacitor between 3v3 and GND and a second 100uF capacitor between VUSB and GND seem to eliminate the issue though. We’re working on a revision that will eliminate the issue.
