Troubleshooting MEMS microphone breakout?

I recently purchased a MEMS microphone breakout board:

I had a brain cramp, and didn’t read the hookup info closely enough: I subsequently applied 5v to it instead of 3.3v. It doesn’t seem to be working now, so I may have killed it. But I’m not sure if it’s a hardware problem or a shortcoming in my Arduino code.

Any suggestions for bench testing or troubleshooting to confirm that hardware is the problem? Thx.

Hi Denny.

3.3 volts is the absolute maximum allowed for the microphone and 5 volts would have most likely permanently damaged the board. If it’s not working, it very likely needs to be replaced.

Nuts. That’s what I expected, hoped I was wrong. Guess I shoulda ordered 2 of them. Thx for the confirmation.
