I am using CircuitPython on a [Adafruit Grand Central M4 Express and would like to integrate the [Tsunami Super WAV Trigger (Qwiic) using RX/TX. From what I understand Serial does not have the “sound delay of 8 msecs typ, 12 msecs max”? If it does is it possible to remove and if yes, what are the draw backs of doing so? I will have background melody and play audio when certain objects pass a sensor.
What is the max speaker impedance and watts that the Tsunami Super WAV Trigger (Qwiic) can handle? I read that the “impedance of the speakers or amplifiers should be above 3.8kΩ.”.
Can the following two speakers run in stereo mode up to max volume without destroying the Tsunami Super Wav?
2x [3W 8Ω or 2x [3W 4Ω or if better spec speakers can be used, suggestions welcome.
To change the volume I’d like to connect a potentiometer however I am not sure the [SparkFun Noisy Cricket Stereo Amplifier - 1.5W will be able to handle the two speakers linked above. To use a pot it says you will need to connect to [analog input on your microcontroller. Would either of these pots work? [Single-Gang 250K Reverse Pot or [10K Log Potentiometer.
