I’m using the TSUNAMI super WAV trigger as an 8ch playback device, playing eight 40-minute mono files on loop. I’m using the Tsunami Mono firmware & the Synced Set function. The ‘loop’ tick box is greyed out when I choose my trigger type as ‘level’ but looking at this forum seems that the config software just runs that way and that it loops automatically as long as my physical switch is set to ON.
All of this is fine when I turn the switch to ON, all 8 mono files play out of their individual outputs and at the end of the 40 mins, it loops back to the beginning. HOWEVER, after the first playback when it’s looped is seems to be playing at 1/2 speed or have odd sample issues. - have you any idea how to solve this?

The only way I’ve found so far to solve this issue is to change the Trigger Type to ‘Edge’ (which enables the loop tick box). But now I don’t have the option to turn the loop off using my ON/OFF switch, just re-trigger it (unless I turn off / disconnect the Super WAV trigger).
Using a level trigger and keeping it active just restarts that track after it reaches the end. There will almost always be a 1 to 3 millisecond gap and it won’t guarantee that multiple tracks will stay in sync over multiple restarts.
Using an edge trigger and checking the “loop” box produces a truly seamless loop between the last sample in the track and the first, and tracks of equal length started with the Synced Set function that are looped this way will stay in sample sync through all subsequent loops. You can use the Stop trigger function to stop a range of tracks using a second trigger.
That said, the strange behavior when using the level trigger sounds like a bug. It may be that I’ve never tested using the combination of a level trigger and Synced Set function. Were all 8 tracks affected equally?
The 3-millisecond gap is not an issue at all (it’s silent for that part anyway), the main issue is that the audio quality is unusable once it’s re-triggered, slowed down / granular sounding buffer effect. I’ll do it with two buttons for now. Just to note, I’ve tried using previous versions of the WTConfig as 2.0 is a beta, but still the same issue and also different versions of the Tsunami mono HEX files.
