Hi,

Is it possible to make some customizations at your UHF RFID antenna (TNC):

  • antenna with longer cable (50cm) and with connector RP-TNC PLUG?

  • back cover for an integrated RFID reader?

Hi Andre,

We sell these antennas as-is from our supplier so any modifications would need to be done by the end user. We have opened one of these up when we first started carrying them and I can tell from first-hand experience that removing the back cover to get at the cable to extend it is not recommended. The back cover is both screwed and sealed into place to make the antenna weather-resistant.

You can use something like our [UHF RFID Cable (TNC to RP-SMA) to extend the cable. A back cover for an integrated reader would not be something we have anything to help with, unfortunately.](https://www.sparkfun.com/products/14132/)
